small projects
Being busy and not too productive lately, here are some stuff I made:
a bag for my sister :) sort of like fat-bottom bag but not exactly
I did it without pattern, just dc all along, made a square and folded into two, then attached with slip stitch to the wood handle.. I am quite happy with the result but next time I probably will do it with hd stitch instead dc, as I still have a pair of wood handle from mba Thata, I will make myself a bag too
I bought one kg of this yarn some time ago.. er maybe it is more suitable to be called rope, as it is very hard I suspect it is used for tying packages or boxes, bought it from a small store, that rope was displayed along with giant rope, the one used by Boy Scout.. ahaha....
didn't know what to do by the time I bought it...
Well at least now I have made something, a container without a lid, I can fold it a bit and use it like the picture on the right, or I can fold it halfway down to make it shorter (pic on the left botton).. There is no pattern, ... Comments are off for this post

Alhamdulillah saya tuh baik2 aja.
Karena rumah sedang diperbaiki ruang yang bisa dipakai sangat terbatas dan komputer juga cuma satu yang bisa dipakai jadinya harus bergantian. Makanya saya jarang sih didepan komputer. Yang masih teratur saya isi blog di FS aja. Di MP ini rasanya gak sreg kalo gak masukkan kerjaan atau hasil kerja saya. Nah untuk itu harus diphoto dulu. Sedang untuk photo, cari background yang baik sekarang lagi susah banget mengingat keterbatasan tempat di rumah ini.
Proyek yang sedang saya kerjakan, emang sih ada crochetnya, cuma anak saya bisa komentar, kok bisa ya sambil ngerajut pake keluar air mata. Emosi saya kayaknya belum stabil ya. Mengerjakan crochet itu bisa sambil ngelamun lalu melantur mengingat-ingat masa lalu yang mengakibatkan saya gak bisa menah... Comments are off for this post

Pembatas Buku
Dapat free pattern dari internet tapi lupa address web nya, cuma sempat nge-save file pattern tsb. Pola Pembatas buku , cuaanntik banged, pertama liat langsung jatuh cintah.
Waktu jam istirahat kerja aku sempatin untuk buat pembatas buku ini, baru saja selesai di buat dah langsung di sambar ama temen trus dengan cuek nya dia masukin ke saku bajunya, sambil melenggang pergi dia bilang, " Ini untuk saya yaa.... pas nih buat pembatas Quran ." Dan aku cuma bisa melongo dan gag bisa protes, meskipun demikian hati senang karena yg aku buat bermanfaat.
Bunga Pembatas Buku
Bahan dan Alat:
Hook Size: 4 (1,25mm)
Yarn : Mimo UCR size M, color :cream
Tusukan Khusus:
Picot: Ch 3, sl st ke ch yang pertama.
Istilah :
Ch = chain = rantai ;
Rnd = round = lingkar;
dc = double crochet ;
sc = single crochet ;
hdc = half double crochet ;
sl st = slip stitch ;
Instruksi:
Buat Ch 5, hubungkan ch ke 5 dengan ch pertama sehingga membentuk ring/cincin
Rnd1: Buat Ch 5, buat (dc, ch 3 ) sebanyak 5 kali, terakhir hubungkan dengan menusuk ke ch ke tiga di awal Rnd1 .
Rnd2: Buat (Sc, hdc, 3dc, hdc, sc) dalam/pada setiap ch3 pada Rnd1.
Rnd3: Buat (Sl st pada dc dari lingkar1, buat ch 5) sebanyak 6 kali, hubungkan ke tusukan sl st yang pertama.
Rnd4: Buat (Sc, hdc, 5dc, hdc, sc) dalam setiap ch5 pada Rnd3.
Rnd5: Buat (Sl st di tusukan pertemuan /antara ch 5 dari Rnd4, buat ch 10) sebanyak 6 kali, hubungkan kembali ke sl st yang pertama dari Rnd5.
Rnd6: Buat [(3 sc, picot) sebanyak 3 kali, buat 3sc] pada lingkar yang terbentuk dari ch 10 di Rnd5, hubungkan dengan tusukan sl antara lingkar ch10, Buat ch 70, terakhir buat sl st dalam ch pertama dari ch70.
Buat Rumbai-rumbai dari benang untuk di pasang di ujung.

Thank you Yenny, please do not worry, I received the package already....Yenny tried to surprise me by sending this without saying anything... Well I was surprise... I received it before I read her e-mail. The postman told me that he've come to my apato last week but no body home. Of course... we were in Indonesia and my hubby was in his office.
Yenny, I like the yarn, especially the pink one !! I'll try to make a bag - a cable bag - like Thata's. I never knit using this kind of yarn, I think I'll need to buy the new needle to match the yarn size.

Benang dan pita

And so I did called her. And the picture above is the result. I have a bag full of thread.....!!!!

So I am doing granny square from the rayon cotton, green, gold, orange and pale yellow.
The thread are so soft and shinny... but one square is just about 4 x 4 cm, well it's depend on the pattern actually....
I also received package from mbak Wiwiek in Jakarta. It was some ribbon and two books of ribbon embroidery, and three kerudung. Thanks mbak Wiek, they are q ing in my to do list already, he..he..he...
Oleh oleh mudik
Visiting my hometown for 10 days.... wow...I discover that my mother's house is full of her crochet project. Yes... she is a crochet expert, she even sold them when I was a kid. And when I ask her how she did it ? where are the pattern ? she just said, I don't have pattern, I just do it.
She made many kind of stuff like cushion cover, doily, table runner, shawl, and this small 'kendi' cover. But now as she getting old she can not do crochet like she used to be.
But at least I still can found her masterpiece at home.

Topi Bayi 0-12 Bulan
Liburan selama tiga hari dimanfaatkan untuk berkunjung ke Bandung, Alhamdulillah selain bersilaturahmi dengan keluarga juga dapat ilmu baru. Kebetulan Ibu dari iparku yang mukim di Malang sedang berkunjung juga ke Bandung, Ibu mertua adikku lah yang mengajarkan cara merenda/hakken/crochet untuk menjadi topi dengan pola Basket Weave Sticth
Gambar bagian atas topi, bagian samping topi, bagian tepi bawah topi .
Pola basket weave ini adalah menggunakan double crochet (dc) /tusuk setengah tongkat dengan cara mengait benang selanjutnya dari atas atau dari bawah, di lakukan secara bergantian.
Misalnya untuk baris pertama di buat 5 dc yang cara menarik benang dari atas kemudian ganti 5 dc dengan cara menarik benang dari bawah, ganti lagi 5 dc dengan cara menarik benang dari atas begitu seterusnya sampai lebar yang diinginkan, baris kedua sama dengan baris pertama. Untuk baris 3 s/d dibuat sebaliknya 5 dc pertama dengan cara menarik benang dari bawah, 5 dc berikutnya ganti menarik benang dari atas, 5 dc berikutnya ganti lagi menark benang dari bawah, begitu seterusnya dilakukan bergantian sampai dengan panjang/tinggi yang diinginkan, dan motif basket weave akan terbentuk.
Untuk bagian atas pertama-tama dibuat ring/tusuk lingkar, baris berikutnya menggunakan pola basket weave yang pada setiap baris berikutnya motif basket weave bagian atas di tambah 1 dc (double crochet/tusuk setengah tongkat), renda bagian atas topi sampai diameternya sesuai dengan ukuran yg diinginkan.
Setelah diameter atasnya sesuai dengan yg diinginkan berikutnya adalah merenda bagian tepi/sisi dengan menggunakan basket weave yg jumlah dc pada setiap barisnya sama , dilakukan hingga lebar sisi/tepi sesuai dengan yang diinginkan.
Terakhir untuk sisi ujung bawahnya menggunakan sc (single crochet / tusuk kencang) di buat selebar 1 cm
